Strategy
UX is the sum of all things and does not deal in style over substance. I ask the right questions to address the right challenges. Aligning UX Strategy to validate Business assumptions includes setting the stage by consulting to explore the possibilities, performing market research, competitive analyses, and conduction design workshops, just to name a few.
Research
Know your users. I focus on user outcomes and design with data to address needs. Agile in my practices, I understand that needs and goals are far from linear. Methodologies include: qualitative & quantitative user research, generative research, workshop facilitation, storyboarding, journey maps, personas, usability testing, user metric analysis, and more.
Design
Analytical problem solving. I create structural hierarchy and solve the challenges of information architecture to streamline the flow of information. Utilizing accessible, well-tested design patterns to make decisions easy by avoiding the paradox of choice. Prototyping, usability validation via user testing, red-lining DEV hand-offs, and business presentations to deliver solutions that work and delight.
Leadership
I build and maintain high-performing UX teams and evangelize UX across the org. My leadership style is empathetic, communicative, strategic, data-driven, user-centric, and more. I share knowledge, remain consistent, provide support, set standards, facilitate the design process by leading design reviews and communicate with stakeholders. I partner with fellow leaders to grow a collaborative, cross-functional culture in a DesignOps seat.
